Family Update: July 6th

Today, Wednesday, Jo and I once again travel to Louisville. Our family’s move is scheduled for August 1st and the date is approaching quickly. We have two primary objectives for this trip:

    1. Interview for OT positions with two companies: a Home Heath agency and a hospital system.
    2. Secure housing for our August move.

We are thankful for so many of you who have been faithful to pray with us and for us during this life change. Many have rejoiced with us and many have wept with us. What an interesting year 2011 has become for our family and we are just barely past the half-way mark.

In addition to praying for God’s provision for our family via employment and housing, we request your prayers on our behalf in the following ways (edited from an e-mail Jo sent to our pastor/church family):

-That God will renew our strength as we try to wait on Him
-That our hearts will please Him even as we struggle with the nitty gritty of resting in His provision
-That the fiery darts of the enemy will quickly be extinguished when they attack Jo or I, our children, or our parents
-That God will quickly provide a loving church family for us in KY
-That we will be able to find a home that will allow us to keep Joshua’s gerbils

As you read this, we will most likely be well on our way. Thank you for being a part of our lives. Thank you for your compassion, care and most of all for your prayers.
