Like all boys, our two love to “swordfight”. Though there is certainly temptation to spend $20 or so on cool, Nerf swords, if boys are determined to “swordfight”, a cool, sword-looking toy isn’t required: anything that you can hold with your hands and swing will work.
A few months ago, my wife tried her hand at creating swords from materials found around the house. What else would she find to use but cardboard and duct tape?
Joshua enjoys making up new words, hence “magnificator”.
Though Aidan might be “invincible”, as you can see in the photo below, his sword has not been.
Aidan usually holds his own well enough, but Joshua got the best of him on this day.
